Manasseh King of Judah
1. Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
1. Manassé avait douze ans lorsqu`il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-cinq ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s`appelait Hephtsiba.

2. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

3. For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
3. Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu`Ézéchias, son père, avait détruits, il éleva des autels à Baal, il fit une idole d`Astarté, comme avait fait Achab, roi d`Israël, et il se prosterna devant toute l`armée des cieux et la servit.

4. And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
4. Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l`Éternel, quoique l`Éternel eût dit: C`est dans Jérusalem que je placerai mon nom.
4. Ary nanao alitara tao an-tranon' i Jehovah izy, dia tao amin' izay nolazain' i Jehovah hoe: Ao Jerosalema no hasiako ny anarako.
5. And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
5. Il bâtit des autels à toute l`armée des cieux dans les deux parvis de la maison de l`Éternel.
5. Fa nanao alitara teo anatin' ny kianja roa tamin' ny tranon' i Jehovah ho an' izay rehetra eny amin' ny lanitra izy.
6. And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
6. "Il fit passer son fils par le feu; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l`avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l`Éternel, afin de l`irriter."
6. Ary ny zanany nampamakiny ny afo, sady nanandro sy nanao sikidy izy ary naka ny manao azy ho tsindrian-javatra sy ny mpanao hatsarana, ary nahery nanao izay ratsy eo imason' i Jehovah izy ka nampahatezitra Azy.
7. And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
7. Il mit l`idole d`Astarté, qu`il avait faite, dans la maison de laquelle l`Éternel avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C`est dans cette maison, et c`est dans Jérusalem, que j`ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d`Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom.
7. Ary ny sarin' i Astarta izay efa nataony dia napetrany tao amin' ny trano nolazain' i Jehovah tamin' i Davida sy Solomona zanany hoe: Ato amin' ity trano ity sy eto Jerosalema izay nofidiko tamin' ny fokon' ny Isiraely rehetra, no hasiako ny anarako mandrakizay.
8. Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
8. Je ne ferai plus errer le pied d`Israël hors du pays que j`ai donné à ses pères, pourvu seulement qu`ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé et toute la loi que leur a prescrite mon serviteur Moïse.
8. Ary tsy hampandeha ny tongotry ny Isiraely intsony hiala amin' ny tany izay nomeko ny razany Aho, raha mba hitandrina ka hanao araka izay rehetra nandidiako azy sy araka ny lalàna rehetra izay nandidian' i Mosesy mpanompoko azy ihany izy.
9. But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
9. "Mais ils n`obéirent point; et Manassé fut cause qu`ils s`égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l`Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d`Israël."
9. Nefa tsy nihaino izy, fa Manase nitaona azy hanao ratsy mihoatra noho ny nataon' ny firenena izay naringan' i Jehovah tsy ho eo anoloan' ny Zanak' Isiraely.
10. And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
10. Alors l`Éternel parla en ces termes par ses serviteurs les prophètes:
10. Ary Jehovah niteny tamin' ny alalan' ireo mpaminany mpanompony hoe:
11. Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
11. Parce que Manassé, roi de Juda, a commis ces abominations, parce qu`il a fait pis que tout ce qu`avaient fait avant lui les Amoréens, et parce qu`il a aussi fait pécher Juda par ses idoles,
11. Satria Manase, mpanjakan' ny Joda, nanao izao fahavetavetana izao ka nanao ratsy mihoatra noho izay rehetra nataon' ny Amorita izay teo alohany sady nampanota ny Joda tamin' ny sampiny,
12. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
12. voici ce que dit l`Éternel, le Dieu d`Israël: Je vais faire venir sur Jérusalem et sur Juda des malheurs qui étourdiront les oreilles de quiconque en entendra parler.
12. Dia izao kosa no lazain' i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely: Indro, hahatonga loza amin' i Jerosalema sy ny Joda Aho, ka izay rehetra mandre izany dia hangintsingintsina ny sofiny roa.
13. And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
13. "J`étendrai sur Jérusalem le cordeau de Samarie et le niveau de la maison d`Achab; et je nettoierai Jérusalem comme un plat qu`on nettoie, et qu`on renverse sens dessus dessous après l`avoir nettoyé."
13. "Ary hohenjaniko ato Jerosalema ny famolainan' i Samaria sy ny pilaon' ny taranak' i Ahaba; ary hamaoka an' i Jerosalema Aho, toy ny olona mamaoka lovia, ka sady mamaoka no manohoka azy koa."
14. And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
14. "J`abandonnerai le reste de mon héritage, et je les livrerai entre les mains de leurs ennemis; et ils deviendront le butin et la proie de tous leurs ennemis,"

15. Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
15. parce qu`ils ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux et qu`ils m`ont irrité depuis le jour où leurs pères sont sortis d`Égypte jusqu`à ce jour.
15. Satria efa nanao izay ratsy eo imasoko izy ka nampahatezitra Ahy hatramin' ny andro nivoahan' ny razany avy tany Egypta ka mandraka androany.
16. Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
16. Manassé répandit aussi beaucoup de sang innocent, jusqu`à en remplir Jérusalem d`un bout à l`autre, outre les péchés qu`il commit et qu`il fit commettre à Juda en faisant ce qui est mal aux yeux de l`Éternel.
16. Ary ankoatra izany, Manase dia nandatsaka rà marina be dia be mandra-pamenony an' i Jerosalema rehetra, ho fanampin' ny ota izay nampanotany ny Joda tamin' ny nanaovany izay ratsy eo imason' i Jehovah.
17. Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
17. Le reste des actions de Manassé, tout ce qu`il a fait, et les péchés auxquels il se livra, cela n`est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?
17. Ary ny asan' i Manase sisa mbamin' izay rehetra nataony sy ny fahotana izay nataony, tsy efa voasoratra ao amin' ny bokin' ny tantaran' ny mpanjakan' ny Joda va izany?
18. And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
18. Manassé se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré dans le jardin de sa maison, dans le jardin d`Uzza. Et Amon, son fils, régna à sa place.

Amon King of Judah
19. Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
19. Amon avait vingt-deux ans lorsqu`il devint roi, et il régna deux ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s`appelait Meschullémeth, fille de Haruts, de Jotba.
19. Roa amby roapolo taona Amona fony izy vao nanjaka, ary roa taona no nanjakany tany Jerosalema. Ary ny anaran-dreniny dia Mesolemeta, zanakavavin' i Haroza, avy any Jotba.
20. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
20. "Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l`Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père;"
20. Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason' i Jehovah koa izy tahaka ny nataon' i Manase rainy.
21. And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
21. "il marcha dans toute la voie où avait marché son père, il servit les idoles qu`avait servies son père, et il se prosterna devant elles;"
21. Fa nandeha tamin' ny lalana rehetra izay efa nalehan-drainy izy ka nanompo ny sampy izay notompoin-drainy sady niankohoka teo anatrehany.
22. And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
22. il abandonna l`Éternel, le Dieu de ses pères, et il ne marcha point dans la voie de l`Éternel.

23. And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
23. Les serviteurs d`Amon conspirèrent contre lui, et firent mourir le roi dans sa maison.
23. Ary ny mpanompon' i Amona mpanjaka nikomy taminy ka namono ny mpanjaka tao an-tranony.
24. And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
24. "Mais le peuple du pays frappa tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit roi Josias, son fils, à sa place."

26. And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
26. On l`enterra dans son sépulcre, dans le jardin d`Uzza. Et Josias, son fils, régna à sa place.
